At the seventh edition of the Niche Egypt Awards, Nader Victor stepped on stage to receive the Featured Award on behalf of Red Door | The Studio. The recognition goes to a studio that asks one simple question of every home: how does it make you feel?
An award for those still rising
Niche has held its awards since 2010, around an idea it sums up in a single sentence: luxury is a state of mind. The evening is divided into categories, from the Award of the Year and the Ambassador Award to the Excellence Award and the Sponsor Award.
The Featured Award is the magazine's own specialty. It goes to a selection of artists and business founders who, as Niche describes them, have the potential not only to rise in their field but to surpass its best. That is the category in which Red Door was named.
The Healing Home
Nader founded Red Door after years working alongside some of the industry's most experienced designers. The technical side was there; what he felt was missing from most interiors was soul. His answer is a philosophy he calls the Healing Home: a home designed to calm, ground and support the people who live in it, not only to impress the people who visit it.
Luxury, in this view, is not a price tag or a rare material. It is how a room makes you feel when you come home at the end of a long day.
Spaces designed not only to be seen, but to be felt.

Designed with people, not for them
Red Door does not follow a house style. Every project begins with a conversation about how the client lives, what they value and what they hope to feel at home. From there the studio works with natural materials, quiet details and layers of story, drawing on art, travel, nature and wellness, and on close observation of how people actually move through their spaces.
Asking clients to trust a design built on feeling was not always easy. Over time the work spoke for itself: clients came back and described real changes in their mood, their habits and their connection to home.
What comes next
Private homes remain the heart of the studio, and Red Door is now stepping into retreats, creative spaces and curated experiences. The aim stays the same: to shift the conversation from how a space looks to how it supports the way we live.
